Virtual RAP Sheet Workshop

In this video-based module series, Legal Action Center explains what RAP sheets are and why it’s a good idea for anyone who has ever been arrested to obtain a copy of their record. The series discusses what appears on the background checks run by many employers; laws protecting jobseekers and workers from discrimination; and ways to lower barriers to employment, occupational licenses, and housing. Although this resource is specific for New York State, we hope individuals in other states will also find it helpful.
