HRT Supplies by Mail
for residents of Maryland

In partnership with NEXT Distro, Baltimore Harm Reduction Coalition is now offering intramuscular and subcutaneous injection supplies for hormones and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) by mail to Maryland residents.

This service is meant to address a gap in syringe distribution specifically for the needs of trans/non-binary/gender-expansive people who inject hormones.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

Needle tips of various sizes, syringe barrels of various sizes, alcohol pads, bandaids, and other injection related supplies.

WHO CAN MAKE REQUESTS?

People with a Maryland mailing address who inject hormones (there are no age restrictions).

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

  • You will request the specific supplies you need in a confidential webform (button below). Each available supply item will be listed. If you don’t see an item you need, there will be a comment box where you are able to let us know so that we can try to get it in stock for future requests.

  • Your supplies will be sent in discreet packaging without indication of its contents. The shipping label will only include the name and address you provide and a PO Box return address.

  • Please note that you may only make one request for supplies every 30 days.

WHAT INFO DO I NEED TO PROVIDE?

  • A nickname and your date of birth. Please use the same nickname and date of birth each time you make a request.

  • Demographic information including race and gender identity.

  • Your mailing address and the name that should appear on the outside of the package (this information will be deleted after the package is sent and will not be stored.)

  • An email address in case we need to contact you about your order (questions about your request, the package is returned to us by the post office as undeliverable, etc.)

WHEN WILL I GET MY PACKAGE?

We do our best to fill requests twice a week so that your supplies arrive in about one week’s time. However, our own staff capacity and fluctuations in the postal office delivery times may cause delays. You can expect your package to be delivered to you within three weeks of submitting your request.

  • Info sheets and resources, as appropriate, with your supplies.
